`nats fever

after today's lactate production training session ive finally managed to tell myself that hey, you're ready for nats and youre gonna go up behind that plunging block and kick some ass baby.

well crazyily enough, from that fact that i had been off form lately and doing 39s and 40s for 50 breaststrokes, i had successfully emerged from today's training with two pbs in a row. 39, 38, 38, 36, 36, 37. 3 pbs, if you follow kat, because she heard my time for the last one as 36.6. but anyway, at least 37 .5 is still within 0.4sec of my pb.

what, very dismayingly, i was greatly dissatisfied by, was what claire had commented about me doing pbs. see? this is one very good example. she actually said straight in my face,"action lar you! do pb swim so fast." hey, you mean if one swims fast means he action? get your facts right man. one goes fast because he has the ability to, and im damn pissed that you actually said that, um, out of jealousy? do you even have a conscience? people work so hard to achieve something and you have to pass such demeaning and degrading remarks about their effort put in. i mean, so what? i just can go fast and i am proud of it, though i remained humble and you had to pass that kind of comments and make that person feel bad and demoralised.

this is an extremely good example of what are THEIR perception is of me apart from others like, no offence, yao or mansheng or kang or kat or whoever. this very well portrays that in THEIR eyes, they just see me as a big loser who accomplished something good today, which they think is 'amazing' from that fact that i am supposed to be a big loser. and they just cant stand to see me do something 'amazing'.
couldnt you have said like, 'well done' or something nice, if not keep ur mouth SHUT and mind your own business.

anyway, what actually made be accomplish such a great feat today was um, staying up late last night talking to ser online. haha it may sound absurd, but yeah she gave me a good 'motivation talk' and tried to talk with me about all these(points up) problems. yeah, she was the one who drove me on today. not my spiked drinks wahaha.
